"I have used Real Estate Repairs to fix
inspection issues many times in the past. There is one time that really stands
out. The inspection report on the four year old house in Planterʼs Pointe in
Mount Pleasant showed that a patio door and the framing underneath was rotted
out because there was no flashing installed when the deck was put on. Phil and
his crew had ordered the replacement door and had all of the demolition done
when the buyers stopped by for a walk through. The couple literally freaked out
when they saw so much exposed wood and a huge gaping hole where the door, floor
and deck used to be. The husband stated, “I canʼt do this. I canʼt believe all
the damage. Weʼre out of here!” The buyerʼs agent told the couple, “Itʼs still
not too late to put an offer in on the other house.”
Thatʼs when Phil stepped in and calmly
told the couple that he did this type of work every day and it wasnʼt really
that bad. He said, “When we finish it will be better than new. It also wonʼt rot
because we are putting back a fiberglass door and composite jambs.” He then blew
me away by telling them, “Look, you both are in the medical field. If I came
into an operating room and saw a procedure being done I would probably lose it
where you would think it is no big deal. It is the same here, trust me. We do
this every day. We will guarantee it and if you ever have a problem call me and
we will take care of it.” The couple calmed down and Phil saved the deal. I canʼt
say enough good things about Phil and his guys at Real Estate Repairs."
